$3,000 Flat Rate Uncontested Divorce, Child Custody, and Child Support Attorney in California

The Ortiz Law Group, P.C. offers a significant amount of experience in processing divorces and child custody matters through the court system in California. We are offering to complete your uncontested divorce, child custody, or child support proceedings for a flat rate of $3,000.00. (Does not include filing fees charged by the court, you may qualify for a fee waiver.)

WHAT IS AN UNCONTESTED MATTER?

An uncontested matter means that both parties to a case are not disputing all or some of the issues in their case. The California court system allows two parties to come together and place all of their agreements into legal documents which is similar to a contract, it is called a settlement agreement. There is of course other documents associated with this process. However, if both parties are able to reach an agreement on all or most of their issues, often the parties will be able to avoid ever entering into a court.

WHAT DOES THE FLAT RATE COVER?

The Ortiz Law Group, P.C. charges a flat rate for all uncontested cases. This includes:

• Preparing all documents related to your case from start to finish until a final judgment is reached.
• Serving your documents on the all necessary parties.
• Copies and postage.
• Questions answered by the Ortiz Law Group, P.C. relating to your uncontested case.
• Filing all of the necessary documents with the Court.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THE FLAT RATE?

• Court Filing Fees - These are fees that the Court may collect when processing the documents by our office. Often times there is a $435 filing fee to file the initiating documents (the petition). However, one or both of the parties may qualify for a fee waiver to avoid paying the initial filing fee. 
• Any contested issues involved in your case. Often times, if the parties are unable to agree on one or a few issues relating to their case, we can process all of the issues in which the parties are in agreement with.
• Qualified Domestic Relations Orders
